Lou's Ends is een nieuwe alternatieve rockband, gevormd door Anna Baartmans en schrijft over het verwerken van grote veranderingen in het leven, kleine ongemakken en de sleur van de werkvloer. Lou's Ends verrast de luisteraar met onconventionele riffs en speelse grenzeloosheid in een catchy rock-jasje.

Op 2 mei 2024 komt het debuut-EP van Lou’s Ends uit op CD (via Continental Record Services) en alle streamingservices. Dat moet gevierd worden, en dat gaan we doen op 4 mei in Willemeen!
Sla 4 mei 2024 maar alvast op in je agenda, want dan gaan we dansen, feesten en herdenken met Lou’s Ends & Friends in Willemeen.
Maar wie zijn die Friends dan?

Gåtvlieg
Gåtvlieg vervaagt de grens tussen fantasie en werkelijkheid met een mix van funk, nu-jazz en elektronica die doet denken aan die keer dat je je Nintendo DS Lite in de vijver hebt laten vallen. Een absurdistisch dans avontuur voor de vreemde dromer.

Jamell Saman
Jamell Saman is een recent afgestudeerde beeldende kunstenaar van ArtEZ. Hij maakt illustraties in groot formaat, die een verhaal vertellen. Mythes, oude volksverhalen, legendes, religieuze overgeleverde verhalen zijn voor Jamell een onuitputtelijke bron van inspiratie en archetypische wijsheid. Jamell’s werken zullen tijdens de releaseshow te zien zijn in onze DIY expositieruimte.

DJ KEUZUZ sluit de avond feestelijk af met groovy disco-tunes om je allerbeste dansmoves te laten zien en het leven ten volste te vieren.

Lou's Ends is a new alternative rockband, formed by Anna Baartmans and writes about processing big changes in life, small discomforts and the drag of the working life. Lou's Ends surprises the listener with unconventional riffs and boundless playfullness with a flavour of catchy rock.

On the second of may 2024 the debut EP of Lou's Ends will drop on CD (via Continental Record Services) and all streamingservices. That is cause for celebration and that's exactly what we will do on the fourth of may in Willemeen!
Put the 4th of may in your agenda, because we will dance, party and commemorate with Lou’s Ends & Friends in Willemeen.

Gåtvlieg blurs the lines between fantasy and reality with a mix of funk, nu-jazz and electronica that reminds you of that time you dropped your Nintendo DS Lite in the pond. An absurdistic dance adventure for the strange dreamer.

Jamell Saman
Jamell Saman is a recently graduated graphic artist from ArtEZ. He makes illustrations in large sizes, that tell a story. Myths, old folktales, legends and religious stories are an inexhaustble source of inspiration and archetypical wisdom for Jamell. His works will be shown during the releaseshow in our DIY expositionspace.

DJ KEUZUZ will close the evening on a festive note with groovy disco-tunes to showcase your best dancemoves and to celebrate life in its fullest.
