Een avond waarop vier bands hun onvoorwaardelijke liefde voor post-punk, wave en darkwave en andere duistere genres met je komen delen!
Na uitgebreide Europese tours hebben Auger (UK), Darker (NL), Korinthians (BE) en Palais Ideal (NL) de krachten gebundeld.
DJ Dragnet maakt deze clubnight helemaal af met een breed scala aan goth, darkwave, postpunk en andere donkere elektronica!

Auger
In 2017 springt Auger haast uit het niets in de grote maar op dat moment nietsvermoedende darkwave scene. Met hun verfrissende en genre-overstijgende mix zijn ze al snel een cruciale speler in de clubs met drie albums die stuk voor stuk succes in de charts hebben. Hun vierde en meest recente plaat Nighthawks is het album waarop voor de band alles samenvalt en wordt door hunzelf gezien als hun pièce de resistance. Auger laat de harten van fans van moderne synths, poppy hooks en vintage wave sneller kloppen!

Darker
Diep geworteld in jaren 80 synthpop, darkwave, postpunk en dystopische klanklandschappen, geinspireerd door elektronische muziek legendes zoals Depeche Mode, Editors, White Lies, Röyksopp, Nine Inch Nails en How To Destroy Angels kan de band Darker worden gezien als architect van een nieuwe wereld, die de chaos, de schoonheid en het donkere hart van post-apocalyptische dromen van klank en ziel voorziet. Single releases vinden moeiteloos hun weg naar playlists die er toe doen en hun zorgvuldig samengestelde live-optredens zijn indrukwekkend en laten een blijvende en betoverende indruk bij het publiek achter.

Palais Ideal
Met een catchy en melodische maar vooral energieke mix van new wave en post punk bestormt Palais Ideal de internationale podia en zijn de eerste bands die direct als referentie te binnen schieten The Sound, The Chameleons en The Buzzcocks. Het gezaghebbende Duitse magazine Sonic Seducer omschrijft de sound van het duo dat inmiddels twee albums onderweg is (een derde op komst) als chocolade voor de oren maar wat ons betreft dan wel van de puurste, donkerste en meest smaakvolle soort.

Korinthians
Geïnspireerd door acts als Goose, Mogwai, M83, Linea Aspera, The Soft Moon en Boytronic geeft het Gentse postpunk kwartet Korinthians hun eigen draai aan het genre om uit te komen bij een hybride die we het beste kunnen omschrijven als doom disco of new romantic darkwave.

Auger

Single releases effortlessly find their way onto playlists that matter and their carefully curated live performances are impressive, leaving a lasting and enchanting impression on audiences.

Palais Ideal
With a catchy and melodic but above all energetic mix of new wave and post punk, Palais Ideal storms the international stages and the first bands that immediately come to mind as references are The Sound, The Chameleons and The Buzzcocks. The German magazine Sonic Seducer describes the sound of the duo, which has now produced two albums (a third on the way), as chocolate for the ears, but in our opinion it is of the purest, darkest and most tasteful kind.

Corinthians
Inspired by acts such as Goose, Mogwai, M83, Linea Aspera, The Soft Moon and Boytronic, the Ghent post-punk quartet Korinthians gives their own twist to the genre to arrive at a hybrid that we can best describe as doom disco or new romantic darkwave .
