Jupiter's Metalfest is a metalfestival created by Jupiter Darkshadow.
The crowd is always hungry for metal! Jupiter's Metalfest wants to give small, new or unknown bands a chance to play with bigger and more famous bands.
The Monolith Deathcult holds the conviction that death metal has reached a ceiling in terms of speed. It doesnΒt really get any faster than Cryptopsy and any more brutal than Hate Eternal without flurrying away in one great big cacophony*). This is why The Monolith Deathcult has decided to broaden the genre by inserting previously Βnot doneΒ elements into the style, adding to the brutality and speed. The Monolith Deathcult realizes all to well that music is a form of entertainment, and that music is made not only for our own pleasure, but also for the audience. The audience wants to be entertained and wants to be captivated by what the band offers. The Monolith Deathcult makes music Βfor the massesΒ without losing their identity by making easy-listening rock tunes.
The Monolith Deathcult doesnΒt make artist-centred music and wonΒt gorge on technicalities only trained ears will hear and appreciate. If people want to see virtuoso techniques they can go out and rent a Steve Vai DVD. The Monolith Deathcult sees the audience banging their heads on the primeval forces of the pounding 4/4 beat., and have set themselves the goal to broaden their extreme (death) metal with influences from techno/dance and industrial music, completed with Wagnerian classical pomposity. All this is topped with an image of irony, black humour and bad taste, in combination with a morbid fascination for everything that is ΒwrongΒ.
A new name, a new sound, and a new face brought to the band, this is the beginning of ΒBurial EarthΒ, founded on the experience received during the times of ΒDocileΒ. In 2007 a demo was released called ΒBabylon AblazeΒ, which was received so good that they decided to re-release it with 2 extra songs as an official EP. After that they started touring through Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, and ofcourse their homeland Holland. Playing festivals, meeting a lot of great people, bands, and cultures. Early 2009 they started recording songs for a new full-length album. During these recordings the vocalist decided to quit the band, this lead to a hold. Luckily a new singer was found , ready to place his voice on the music, bringing a whole new feeling to the sound. Therefore the decision was made to change the band name to Burial Earth and unleash some new ass kicking metal songs upon your ears. Faster, louder, and tighter than ever before, here are some new songs as a sign of what to expect from this new formation.
The musical style of Am Tuat is best described as 'progressive metal'. The blending of many different musical backgrounds of each member, makes the music dynamic, interresting and distinctive.
Since the formation in 2003, their musical style has continiously developed to the present day. Having played on festivals and concerts with bands like Within Temptation, After Forever, Turisas, Sinister, Officium Triste and many others shows that Am Tuat can be booked for any occasion.
The past year Am Tuat has been working on a making their own style in the metal-genre. Not keeping themselves to the conventional ideas, Inmotion holds their own view of which they can say that it is Am Tuat. Easy listening rock, jazz and even Pink Floyd-like influences can be heard in the music according to listeners. Not as in what the musical pieces are; but the atmosphere it breathes. "Inmotion" is therefore not compareable to the earlier work "Illusions of Time" and "Secunda Ante Meridiem". While these demo's were of great importance for the development, Inmotion is a completely new direction for both the musicians and for the band.
Trial By Ordeal was started near the end of 2006 out of fun; Cliff and Carlo had the idea to have a jam in the studio. The first time they played went realy well, considering it was a first time, in fact they wrote a whole song in just 4 hours.
After this jam session they decided to play more often and the 3 times jamming after that they were finished with the second song.
With these two songs the whole rampage started, they called the band Trial By Ordeal. By the time they realized that this was going to work, they only played once a month, but that was enough to produce even more pieces for songs but after all they were still playing with just a drummer and a guitar player.
Around June 2007 Carlo, who also plays drumms in the band Helmintophile ( this band stopped playing ) asked their bassplayer Robert Roest if he wanted to try to play in Trial By Ordeal. He thought it was a good idea and he tried, everyone was satisfied so now they had a bassplayer.
The only thing just needed was a singer and every musician knows its very hard to find a good singer. In august 2007 Cliff thought about the idea to invite a friend of his called Nick. Carlo, Cliff and Robert were so pleased with the sound of Nicks vocals that they almost right away made him a member of Trial By Ordeal.
Trial By Ordeal is going realy well for a while now, the songs are coming up and there is even a solo guitar player in the game called Merijn Schenkels, who is gonna take care of some melodic pieces we wanted to bring with winds of mortals.
After a while we had to say goodbye to Nick because of personal reasons, he is still actief for us. More in the way as a manager role. We also can say that his replacment will be taken care of Sergej Van Den Heuvel.
