Weltschmerz

Weltschmerz komt uit het hart van Nederland. Hun naam ontlenen ze aan de Duitse schrijver Jean Paul en geeft al aardig aan in welke richting je het muzikaal moet zoeken: Donkere, misanthropische en duistere black metal. Of zoals ze het zelf formuleren:  the kind of feeling experienced by someone who understands that physical reality can never satisfy the demands of the mind.

From the Ashes

From the Ashes maakt death metal met een randje black. De band werd in 2009 opgericht door guitarist Peter Reedijk. Hij recruteerde zanger Paul Backers, en van daaruit werd een line-up samengesteld die vanaf 2010 de podia onveilig maakt. Het zoeken naar een vaste drummer gaat nog even door, maar vanavond treden ze aan in Willemeen

Grindpad

Grindpad is geen geheel onbekende naam. In 2010 wonnen ze met hun compromisloze death metal de Metal Battle. Het was het startsein voor een zegetocht over de podia. Podia die ze deelden met onder andere Bolt Thrower, Benediction en Tankard. We bedoelen maar> Ditgaat knallen.

From the Ashes is a blackened death metal band from The Netherlands, founded in 2009 by guitarist Peter Reedijk. After first recruiting singer Paul Backers, the band was soon complete and ready for its first gigs in 2010. The spot behind the drums proved the most difficult to fill, with three drummers coming and going over the next three years. There is still a drummer needed.
