Lennard & Lennard
Lennard Meyermann is een producer pur sang die zijn sporen verdiend heeft met sound design voor commerciële toepassingen en die een voorliefde heeft voor techno en hiphop. Lennard Vaarten, daarentegen, is een klassiek geschoold muzikant met een lichte Beach Boys-obsessie.
Overeenkomsten zijn er echter ook genoeg; naast een naam deelt het duo een speelse aanpak waarbij ze graag genreconventies op de proef stellen en onbruikbare geluiden bruikbaar maken. Live zetten ze hun onheilspellende techno nog wat kracht bij met een scala aan analoge synths, effecten, samples en vocalen. Op het podium maakt Lennard Meyermann plaats voor ‘ere-Lennard’ Sonam Plomp, voormalig lid van de band Youth Reserve.

Lennard Meyermann is a producer's producer who cut his teeth on techno, instrumental hip hop, and sonic branding for commercial applications.
Lennard Vaarten, on the other hand, is a classically trained instrumentalist whose idea of musical perfection sounds roughly like the beach boys.
Yet this odd couple is not only made up of differences.Besides a name, lennard&lennard share a penchant for bending genre conventions until they break, a love for making unusable sounds usable, and a playful spirit that permeates everything they do.
Live, their high-octane techno is brought to life with an array of analog synths, effecten, samples and vocals. Lennard Meyermann’s shoes are filled on stage by ‘honorary Lennard’ Sonam Plomp, formerly of the band Youth Reserve.

Susurrus DJ Set
Voor en na het optreden houdt het duo de vaart erin met een DJ set waarin hun uiteenlopende inspiratiebronnen de revue passeren (al zullen ze The Beach Boys toch maar achterwege laten).
