The Aggrolites maken retro-rocksteady-rubadub-reggae die klinkt alsof het rechtstreeks van een decennia oude rootsreggae klassieker komt.
Ook op Jamaica gooit de band hoge ogen: ze speelden als begeleidingsband van grote namen als Derrick Morgan, Joseph Hill (Culture) en Prince Buster. Deze laatste gaf ze het grootste compliment mogelijk, door te zeggen: “It reminded me of the old days, I can’t believe that this young band from America could play my music just as good as the day it was recorded.”
