Kort na de oprichting van Planet Eyelash in mei 2008 was de droom van de meiden uit Groningen, Nijmegen en Leeuwarden om op te treden. En dat dan in jurkjes. Nog geen vier maanden later werd dit werkelijkheid en inmiddels laat het enthousiaste vijftal zien dat ze met haar grungepunk een succesvolle weg ingeslagen is. De rockchicks speelden bijvoorbeeld live op 3FM en verzorgden het voorprogramma van punklegende UK Subs. In jurkjes! "They should be in every riot grrrl top 8," schrijft QUEENS Magazine. Half september staat Planet Eyelash in vrouwentijdschrift Yes en is de eerste demo een feit.

At the end of January 2009 Poultry will release their first album on Japanese label; High speed flower. These are the first recordings where they have managed to capture the energy and enthusiasm of their live shows. With this brand new album Poultry feels confident enough to hit the bigger stages.

With an average age of 20 years, Poultry has played lots of shows. They have been playing together since they were 14. After playing in every venue in their area (Gouda), they started playing more around the country and also some international shows.
