Mephistofeles is one of the biggest acts of the new Doom Stoner scene from Argentina which has developed its own cult following all around the world.
In 2016 they released their debut album “Whore”, which got very popular in a short period of time. The following year they released their second album “I’m Heroin”, which Jus Oborn from Electric Wizard picked as one of his favourites albums of 2017. “Dirty and sleazy heavy psychedelic doom. Great filthy guitar sound and creepy lyrics, this has been on repeat a lot. In 2019 their 3rd studio album “Satan Sex Ceremonies” was released. It was the first record produced entirely by the band itself. Then on late 2022 “Violent Theatre” came out, being the last album recorded by the band’s original drummer. Currently the group has a new line-up featuring Luca Frizza on drums and is working on their 5th record. The band has a constant tight schedule of gigs around Argentina and South America. It has played together with worldwide renowned bands such as Acid King and Lucifer.

Physical copies of their studio albums and live recordings are available worldwide thanks to various collaborations with independent labels and records stores all over Europe, USA and Japan. Their whole studio catalog has been repressed multiple times due to the many requests demanding for more physical material from the band.
