In 1985 Master obtained a record deal with Combat Records after recording an albums worth of demo tracks which were not released until 2003 by Displeased Records as Unreleased 1985 album. In 1990 the band was signed by the German label Nuclear Blast Records, who also had contracted Speckmann's other band Abomination.
In 1991, the second album was released: On the Seventh Day God Created ... Master, featuring Paul Masvidal on lead guitar, followed by the Collection of Souls in 1993 both on Nuclear Blast. Thereafter their record deal ended and Master went on hiatus to find a new record label. Five years layer, Faith Is in Season was released on Pavement Records. Speckmann then focused on several other projects, including the resurrected Abomination and eventually joined the Czech band Krabathor, for which Speckmann relocated to the Czech Republic. In 2002 the next album was released, titled Let's Start a War by System Shock, which also contracted Krabathor. In 2003 Spirit of the West followed, and Spirit of the West in 2004, on the same label. Master then switched labels again, to the German label Twilight Vertrieb and released Four More Years of Terror in 2005. The new album Slaves to Society was released in May 2007. The band will embark on a European tour in May and June, followed by yet another tour with Chicago legend Lividity beginning on September 8th 2007 until the 30th.
Master continues to tour and record albums.
Formed at the end of 2002 in Strasbourg, France, Absurdity started out by playing straightforward death metal, influenced by old Sepultura, Carcass and Bolt Thrower, but have since headed towards a more hardcore-influenced industrial metal territory after the departure of vocalist Olive. With the addition of sample player ZnO, the band discovered their specific trademark sound. Absurdity's songs deal with the issues of the evil, social poverty and human misery, influenced by authors such as Albert Camus, Franz Kafka and even Andre Malraux.
"Decline Of The Human Condition", the band's debut demo was released in 2003. From that point, the metal community understood Absurdity's style, notable for their unique artwork in addition to their new-found musical identity. The band have also performed nearly 80 shows in France and all over Europe, playing with acts such as Gojira, Benediction, Benighted, Vader, Immolation, Suffocation, Rotting Christ and many more. Vitalizing live shows make them a promising reference for the future.
The group recorded the "Urban Strife" EP in SIR Studio in November of 2007, exposing their cold and mechanical sound with alternating violent death metal passages and neck-snapping hardcore mosh breakdowns, combined with mind-numbingly chaotic industrial sections. More line-up changes followed after the release of "Urban Strife", with the band now stable and ready to commit to recording new songs for a future release.
2009 saw the release of the follow-up to "Urban Strife", the "Industreatment" EP, which was extremely well received by the press and subsequently provided the band with an international level of credibility it had never before achieved.
"What doesn’t kill you
Makes you stronger
Ever present Mind,
Undestructible."
Fed-up with the entire trend flooding the scene, NERVOCHAOS was born on the spring of 96, with the idea of creating an aggressive and chaotic music shredding the barriers of Death Metal and Hard Core. NERVOCHAOS gained cult status in the extreme music scene due to their hard work over the past years, offering a sonic extravaganza in their unique way. Their demo-tapes have become collector’s items in the underground, supporting their regular releases.
Their first, four track demo-tape, “Nervo Chaos” was released in late 96. “Pay Back Time” is the band’s debut full length CD and it was released, by Tumba Records, in early 98. “Disfigured Christ” is the band’s 2nd four track demo-tape and came out in early 2000, by Tumba Records. NERVOCHAOS released in 2002, via Destroyer Records, their 2nd full length CD “Legion of Spirits Infernal”. The 3rd four track demo-tape “Necro Satanic Cult” was released once again by Tumba Records, in 2004. “Quarrel in Hell” is their 3rd album released in Brazil by Tumba Records and in the USA by Ibex Moon Records.
The band manages to deliver the most brutal and yet sophisticated output of their career. The furious Brazilian metallers combine the best elements of all extreme music schools, mixing sheer brutality, amazing technical skills, speed with thrashing vibes and the feeling for their needed virtuosity.
