It was on a Sunday in 2010, May 15th to be precise and Job and Nick were hanging around at Job's lair, when it happened. A vision struck them, a prophecy was told and even though you couldn't see it because it all happened during daytime, the stars aligned.
The prophecy told them they were destined to form a band, and so it began. They recorded a riff Nick had lying around, formed a song around it and with a thunderous blast and a brutal yet touching jam, the band that would be known as Take Down The Sun came into being.
A singer was found when Nick contacted a friend. That friend told him to seek out the mysterious man known by the name of Vincent.
Songs were being written and practiced when Vincent remembered an old legend of a legendary guitar player that dwelled in the town called Huissen. Vincent was told to go on an epic adventure to seek out the legendary guitar player. He ventured through the woods and fought many foul monsters along the way. It was a long and epic journey, that took him well over 15 minutes.
He returned, he had succeeded in his quest. Leo entered and the room turned dark and cold. In total silence, he plugged his guitar into an amp and began his audition. Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, as Leo flawlessly hit each note with angelic grace. Nick, Job, and Vincent were stunned by Leo's enchanting guitar play and they realised he was meant to be the lead guitarist.
A bassist was found much later, when Vincent invited his brother Alex into the band. Alex, who was originally a guitar player, learned to play bass with supernatural pace. The tones of Alex' bass were more aggressive than the deepest battle drums, so they gladly accepted him into the band and so Take Down The Sun was completed and the prophecy was fulfilled.
They worked together and epic compositions were created. After a lot of work, these 5 guys are ready to share their music with the world.
Alex' deep bass tones, Job violating his drum kit, Vincent's combination of feral screams and touching clean vocals, Nick's heavy rythm guitar playing and fitting backing vocals, Leo's epic melodies and solos, it all blends together perfectly into some heavy but melodic tunes.
