If you are organizing a big Grindfeast XL festival there is one band that has to be performing. I'm talking of course about the partygrinders Kaasschaaf from Arnhem. They always know how to turn a show in one big Grindfeast-party. That they are not that small local band anymore can be seen in the fact that in february 2015 they will be part of the Party over Europe-tour together with Party Cannon! If you can't make it to Grindfeast XL be sure not to miss them on that tour!.You can't come to a Kaasschaaf show and not be taken away by the utter pleasure and party that this band brings. So, I expect you grindfeasters to be ready for some hompa-hompa and a great polonaise!
Obscene Extreme Festival in the Czech Republik and Blaston Bury Fest in the United Kingdom just to name a few. We are very proud that Hymen Holocaust will perform at the Grindfeast XL festival. Hymen Holocaust is a band in top condition and they will bring us a sick, sick, sick show. It's gonna be a dirty mess of porngrind, goregrind and grindcore! You would not want to miss this for the world!!
Holocausto Canibal, named after the famous movie from Rugerro Deodato, is a band from Porto that was manifested during the Autumn of 1997. These Portuguese grindcore-warriors are known for playing a mix of brutal death metal and goregrind. The band has the last few years become a household name in the top of the grindcoret-scene. Last year they played Extremefest, Obscene Extreme and this year they even toured Brazil. How many grindcore bands can say that? And therefore we are proud that we could get them to come to Holland. This band will give you a show that is so intense that it will rip your guts out and they will make sure that now one will be left alive! All hail Holocausto Canibal!
Keitzer is a deathgrind/grindcore/hardcore band from the North Rhine-Westphalia area in Germany. In 2001 they released there debut album and since then they have released 2 split-albums and 4 full-lenght albums.This year they brought out there latest full-lenght album called "The Last Defence", which is well received by critics all over the world. The music on this last album can be described as somewhere between Misery Index, Marduk, early Deicide etc. There music is merciless, fearless and will spare no one. On the 22st of november these German blastbeat lunatics will burn hell down!!
Party Cannon comes from Scotland and releases there cd's through the underground label Gore House Productions. The band was formed in the summer of 2010. Party Cannon has to this date released: 2 singles, 2 demos and 1 live album. This february they will embark on a small European tour together with Kaasschaaf. Everyone who has bought the live album knows that Party Cannon is all about partying till you can't stand on your feet again. With a name like Party Cannon and a repertoire consisting of what they call "Party Slam" songs a good party is guaranteed!!
In the far north of Holland, in a province called Fryslân, emerged in 1998 the grindcoremasters of Stoma. Although some members were also involved in Brainshit, it was not long after the emergence of Stoma that these two bands merged together. In 2000 the band recorded there first songs for a split with the band Last Days of Humanity. The split album was called “Gory Human Pancake”. Since then the band toured all over the world. But even after all those shows and all those years no one can claim that Stoma doesn't still kick-ass. They still have the grindcore-spirit with which they began their journey more than 15 years ago. Everyone who wil come to this show will get a first hand look of what a grindcore-gods show looks like. Everyone that will come out to see Stoma will see why they are rightfully called Dutch grindgods!
The goregrindband Squash Bowels is a product of the Polish grindcore-scene. This band was founded in 1994 and has released an astonisching of 16! split-albums with artists like Disgorge and Catasexual Urge Motivation. In addition to that they also released 4 demo's, 2 EP's, 1 live-album, 1 single, 6 full length-albums, of which Grindcoholism is their last, and they have participated in 2 compilations. The band labels itself as old Grindfathers, and with more than 20 years of being in the grindcorescene this term is their righteous heritage. But be amazed 'cause their performance will show that they are nowhere near retirement!!
Mincing Fury and Guttural Clamour of Queer Decay or M.F.A.G.C.O.Q.D. hails from the Czech Republic. Although the band was formed in 1996 it took untill 2002 to record there first full-length album. In 2008 the band split-up but in 2010 the band was, with the help of new members, ressurected again. As organisers of Grindfeast XL we are very happy that we could get M.F.A.G.C.O.Q.D. to came to Arnhem because this band doesn't play often outside the Czech Republic. So be sure to catch 'em on Grindfeast XL because it can be years before they will again play on Dutch ground!!
Deriving there name from the 1977 classic cannibalmovie "Ultimo Mondo Cannibale", which was named "The Last Survivor" outside of Italy, this grindcoretrio came together in 2005. This was also the year they released there demo. In 2009 there first full-length album was released called "Pornokult" followed by their second full-lengh "Drink My Milk" in 2011. They play a very blunt form of goregrind. With a brutal appearance at this years Obscene Extreme Festival this band knows what it takes to give a live-show that will hunt you in your dreams for the rest of the year!!
Holland's Blood I Bleed was founded in 2002 after the band My Minds Mine quit. Blood I Bleed plays a very fast and agressive style of hardcore/grindcore. They have realeased two full-length albums which were called "High Octane Thrash" and "Gods out of Monsters", which was released through Fast & Furious Records. Blood I Bleed will come at you like a whirlwind, they will destroy all what comes in their way and leave nothing behind! Don't tell anybody that you weren't warned!
