Ancient Mith ( Hungry Giant, rush YA )

Ancient Mith, front man for the groups, Hungry Giant and rush YA has been  very well received around the world by fans and critics since first releasing vinyl and cd in 2003. Touring the U.S., Canada, and Europe for the last 6 years, Ancient has performed with acts such as Mr. Dibbs, EL-P, KRS One and Atmosphere. Headlining and opening shows from commercial rap, indie rock, folk festivals, to underground hip hop and everything in between. Ancient was asked to be one of the first performers as well as the first hip hop act to play at DenverΒ’s new Frederic C. Hamilton Art Museum and also Scribble Jam 2008. A high energy, interactive set involves the crowd in more ways than the traditional " When I say " Hey", You say " Ho".

Calm ( Time and Awareness )

If you are a fan of radio or television hip-hop, or one of those cats a hip-hop linguist might you probably wonΒ’t get much of CalmΒ’s new album Β“Anti-Smiles.Β”

Most people donΒ’t like intellectual hip-hop. Shit, we gotta think all day long right? Most of us would rather drink a forty & hit a blunt. Β“Anti-SmilesΒ” Calm's latest album could possibly be the intellectual hip-hop album of the year. personal and heartfelt lyrics accomplish his goal of writing songs Β“that give people the chills and goose bumps on their necks. And AwareNess eclectically cerebral production lays perhaps the perfect canvas for the words, stories and contemplations presented in the music.
