Now Ex is the musical pseudonym of alternative pop artist and filmmaker Nick Hampson. With a background in opera as a child soloist, Nick’s journey has been anything but ordinary. His music and films share a common thread: creating vivid, relatable worlds and characters that resonate long after the final note or scene.

Launching Now Ex during the pandemic, Nick quickly garnered a global following with his first two EPs, playing a series of sold-out London shows along the way. In June 2023, Now Ex made a striking German debut with a sold-out performance in Hamburg, followed by an unforgettable night in Berlin. This momentum carried through an intimate acoustic set at the legendary St Pancras Old Church in London, showcasing his versatility.

2024 marks a pivotal moment for Now Ex with the “Welcome to the Feeling Tour,” featuring 30 full-band performances across Germany, Prague, Malmö, Copenhagen, the UK, and even Mexico City. With the “In 2 Minds Tour” on the horizon, he is ushering in the “Gold Era” in four different countries, following the “Pink Era” of “Welcome To The Feeling”.

Supported by playlisting on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Indie and radio airplay on BBC and RTE 1, Now Ex continues to blend musical innovation with cinematic storytelling, cementing his place as a compelling force in alternative pop.
