Eindhoven staat al jaren bekend als Rockcity, maar als het aan een stel gekuifde jongeren in Arnhem ligt krijgen zij concurrentie in het oosten.

Sinds het sluiten van de Goudvishal is het in Arnhem stil geworden rond veel muziekgenres, één daarvan heeft hard geknokt zichzelf in stand te houden: Psychobilly. De grom uit het punktijdperk, maar het swingende hart van Rockabilly. Een succesvol jaar Rock ‘n’ Roll wordt zondag 1 november bezegelt met een festival. In één middag laat organisator Laurens Kling alle hoeken van dit genre zien door 7 bands op de twee podia van Willemeen te zetten. Van Rockabilly tot Speedrock en van Punk'n'Roll tot old-school Psychobilly, Arnhems eigen The Bodybags en als afsluiter de legendarische band "The Griswalds", die 20 jaar geleden faam maakten met een psychobilly versie van The Housemartins hit "Happy Hour".

Al jaren fan of net geïnteresseerd, Sunday Psychout Fest geeft les in hedendaags Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Onze eigen Bodybags gaan op tour met psychobilly legendes The Griswalds. Ze eindigen in hometown Arnhem.

The Headless Horsemen are three guys from germany who know how to psychoboogie. Their new album will release in november, and Sunday Psychout Fest will get an exclusive preview! If rhythm was a dancer, it would be shaking it's butt to this!!

On their way to become one of hollands finest psychobilly bands, The Bodybags will end their tour with The Griswalds with this homecoming show. Gigs all around europe and and album coming up, these guys are unstoppable. And they must have the best bassplayer in The Netherlands.

If there is one hard rocking band in this line up, it must be Noctoplye. These guys started out as a speedrock band, but got influenced by Rockabilly and Psychobilly so much, they now make one hell of a boogie. loud, slick, rock and roll.

The new punky rock'n'roll treat from The Netherlands is The 101's. The guys from the Eindhoven area combine everything that is kickass about punkrock and rockandroll. Energy is what it's all about, and energy is what they give.
